Currently, I’m exploring the cosmos with quilts inspired by space science and images from space telescopes. The inspiration behind each of my quilts are either from the colors or the structures I see within each photograph and I translate these into quilts using modern and traditional techniques. Below you’ll see the latest quilts that are part of my current collection.

Red Giant
Red Giant is the first in a series of space-themed original quilt designs. Our Sun is estimated to enter its “red giant” phase in over 5 billion years. This quilt explores this very distant future with a 1980s retro design to add dimension. Red Giant was also seen at QuiltCon 2025 in Phoenix, AZ as part of the Windham Fabrics Ruby + Bee Fabric Challenge.

Saturn is Made of Mousse
Saturn is Made of Mousse becomes the second quilt as part of the quiltiverse collection. An original design for the Pantone Quilt Challenge 2025 used the color Mocha Mousse to tell the gentle story of the planet and its majestic rings. The bold minimalistic design uses browns and grays to create shadow, depth and subtle transparency.
